Google has rolled out a targeted update for the Pixel 10 lineup to correct a recurring display problem that left some devices showing a static effect.

The new build, BD3A.250721.001.E1, is available over the air for Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL. At about 31MB, the download is small and installs quickly. Google’s changelog describes the release only as a set of “critical bug fixes and performance improvements.”

Carrier Verizon disclosed additional details, confirming that the update addresses an error that briefly caused a fuzzy screen on some units. Users reported that while devices remained responsive, the display would flicker into a snowy pattern before returning to normal.

This marks the second patch for Pixel 10 phones in September. The series originally shipped with Android 16 QPR1 and the August security update, followed by a launch-day patch and an earlier September release that improved stability, transitions, and Android Auto behavior.

Google has not yet posted factory images for the new patch, but the update is already live through system settings. No other Pixel models are receiving it, suggesting the rollout is focused on resolving the display bug reported on the latest devices.

The Pixel 10 series runs on the Tensor G5 processor and offers up to seven years of software support. The standard Pixel 10 starts at $799, the Pixel 10 Pro at $999, and the Pixel 10 Pro XL at $1,199 across major retailers.
